Openness and translucency are evident throughout the entire project. The layout takes full advantage in daylight. Most of the glazed facade is free, but there are a few spots where some meeting rooms and private offices are located next to the facade.
Those spaces are closed with glass, which allowed the opening and brightness we were looking for.
In addition, the workstations are low and have translucent panels with graphic motifs made of vinyl to make these spaces more elegant but also clear, clearly translating the personality This project has focused on versatility.
So, if we compare this project with a traditional one, we can discover that this has not looked for a check list of the necessary spaces, moreover it creates spaces able to respond to the customer’s needs. A clear example of this is the reception, which, more than a waiting-welcoming space, is a hub where employees, customers and visitors enter. The project saves 20% of energy in lighting systems. – The project complies with the energy efficiency standards recommended by LEED.
-There is a dedicated space for the collection and storage of recyclable materials. -More than 20% of the materials used in the project have recycled content. -The HVAC system has filters that help keep the indoor air quality cleaner. – Paints, sealants for coatings and glues used in the project have a low VOC content, which LEED: AKF
