Villa Raifonder
The concept is to live between the walls. Inside the composition, six large load-bearing boards that become permeable walls, generating the program and guiding the user towards a connection between the house and the forest but keeping it private from the collective environment.
Consequently, the house has an “L” shape with two opaque sides, formed by massive walls with punctual openings that contrast with two predominantly transparent sides characterized by large windows that open onto the garden and the wood.
The house is positioned on the ground adapting to the existing inclined topography. This creates a cantilevered volume of almost six meters in the main facade facing the access road.
